For financial or other reasons, many aren’t ready for someone else to sweep, mop, dust, shine, and scrub for us. How Simple Is That offers a long page of cleaning tips ranging from the microbial germs in the shower to the crusty stuff baking onto the walls of the microwave (assuming you have a microwave, which I don’t. Assuming you have a shower, for that matter, which I do).
I appreciate that she leans toward the non-toxic cleaners–you don’t need to be working your muscles and be exposed to hazardous materials. Double gross.
And no post on cleaning would be complete without reference to the epic-ly long pages of the FlyLady. I find her site a little confusing to navigate, but just found the Table of Contents which has things ordered in a way this left brain can understand. She offers all kinds of advice, strategy, and motivation to get the house under control and stay under control.
