Business Plan Birthing
You know what you can do well, and how you want to serve your customers. You can see a picture of your company’s future in your mind–and it’s a bright future, with lots of growth. :-)
But you have yet to write it all down. And now you want to approach a potential partner, or investor, or a loan-meister of some sort. You need to show them how your company works, and explain your business model. You need to illustrate for them that picture you see in your mind, and you need to show them that bright future.
You need a business plan. However, being good at running your business doesn’t mean you have plenty of time to write a business plan. Perhaps that’s why so many small businesses don’t bother. (And they probably don’t get business loans or investors either.)
Most of that business plan is already inside you—and if you need to get it out, we’re here to help. That’s what our Business Plan Birthing is all about.
It consists of four steps:
- We’ll interview you to get information about your business and its mission in your own words.
- We’ll take all that verbal information, enter it into a Word document, and categorize it by business plan section.
- Then we’ll coach you through gathering any missing info, for example, financial data or marketing research.
- If not we should come up with the specifications for this again.
At the end of the process, you’ll have a finished business plan that you can use to represent your business to interested parties like investors and banks, as well as for your own planning purposes!
